JOB DESCRIPTION: North County Manufacturing Company is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team. Must have at least 5 years of experience and a BSEE or BSSEET Degree and an active PE(Professional Engineer) license. Ideal candidate will have Contractor experience and 5-10 years of electrical design experience including experience with 120v, 240v and 480v systems and in PLC and controls. Must have an working understanding of industry codes and standards, including UL,UL-EU, CE, CSA. Understanding of electrical CAD software. Ability to write technical documents and have excellent communication skills and a team player attitude. Company IS NOT looking for anyone with Circuit board or FPGA experience. This position is responsible for designing, testing, and evaluating electrical systems and components, and for analyzing and summarizing design, test, and evaluation data. This position is also responsible for writing assembly and test instructions for finished products. This is a Direct Hire position. Pay depends on experience $80k -$100K

Job Duties:
• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Confirms system’s and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
• Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Electrical Engineering new design and post-design support for new and existing UV disinfection equipment.
• Serves as an SME in relevant product development projects.
• Uses electrical CAD to design circuit drawings and wiring diagrams.
Implements new designs and design corrections from Concept to Manufacturing.
• Supports existing products in the field through Technical Support/Field Service and Manufacturing.
• Maintains existing products as required to meet safety, reliability, and customer expectations.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Actively participates in design reviews and project reviews.
• Adheres to quality system requirements in the development of new products including all required documentation.
• Ensures compliance to organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Create a Bill of Material for electrical assemblies.
• Test completed UV equipment to meet design specifications.
• Write assembly and test instructions.

Salary Range and Bonus Potential:
$80 to $ $100k

Job Requirements:
• 5 -10 years of previous Electrical Design Experience
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) OR Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET)
• Professional Engineer License or the ability to obtain a PE License
