Job Description

Assembly Technician I, II, and II.  Lower levels require less skill.

We are looking for Assembly Technicians III who enjoy a fast pace environment. The Position is full­ time, 40-hours a week, with benefits; overtime as needed, including weekends, may be required. We are looking to fill openings on first shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) and second shift (1:OOpm-  9:30pm).

Job Duties:

  • Assemble  parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies,  sub-assemblies,  or frames, using hand tools (screwdriver,  wrenches, sockets, ball drivers, pliers, cutters, etc.) and power tools (torque drivers, drills, grinders,  rivet guns, etc.).
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Working knowledge of Voltage Meters

 

Job Requirements

  • Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies,  sub-assemblies,  or frames, using hand tools (screwdriver,  wrenches, sockets, ball drivers, pliers, cutters, etc.) and power tools (torque drivers, drills, grinders,  rivet guns, etc.).
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Working knowledge of Voltage Meters
  • Drilling holes
  • Accurately read and interpret work instructions.
  • Fasten cables and wiring.
  • Perform basic functional test of completed assembly.
  • Rework of non- conforming production assemblies.
  • Test, trouble shoot, and problem solve.
  • Work with Engineering team.
  • Knowledge of OHM laws and working with batteries is a plus.
  • Ability to adjust to other duties, responsibilities and activities that may be changed or assiqned as needed with or without notice.

 

Physical Conditions/Requirements

  • Job frequently requires sitting and handling objects with hands.
  • Job requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

 

Educational Requirements

  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Lite Manufacturing Assembly
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools used in assembly
  • Self-starter and ability to suggest solutions when problems arise.
