Job Duties:  TriStaff is partnering with our client, an innovative, rapidly expanding computational fluid dynamics software company. They specialize in modeling turbulent reacting flows with our flagship product, which is a revolutionary CFD software with truly autonomous meshing capabilities. We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to help manage our existing clients and expand our business in Michigan. This position will involve visiting both existing clients and new prospects, creating and giving presentations, attending trade shows, arranging software trainings, and negotiating license terms. This position is located in Houston, TX and will report to the Director of Sales.

Salary Range and Bonus Potential:

Base salary:  $80K - $90K

Bonus/commission:  $50K+

Job Requirements:

  • At least two years of work experience with CFD
  • Knowledge of CFD modeling
  • Gas/Oil industry modeling experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Outgoing, creative, and highly self-motivated
  • Experience working with customers in a sales setting for CAE software (desirable)
  • Educational Requirements: S., M.S., or Ph.D. (advanced degree preferred) in engineering
