JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for a team leader to manage our user content & channels teams within the Product organization. In this role, you will define the brand, tone and voice of our user content and messaging as well as our channels strategy to engage them in our product. You and your team will play a critical role in outlining and executing our user marketing and engagement strategy inside and outside the app.
Our products are designed to help our users better navigate their health and benefit decisions, and the content & channels teams controls this dialogue and our marketing strategy. In order to drive engagement in our products and features, we need to ensure the our decisions are guided by consumer best practices, data and thoughtful marketing.
This will be a key role to ensuring engagement in Castlight now and for years to come. He/she will lead a team comprised of producers, marketers, and channel experts that partner with Product managers, engagement strategy experts, design/UX and product analytics to achieve this critical business goal.

Job Duties:
• 7+ years’ experience in B2C or B2B2C product marketing / content role including proven success in driving user marketing and strategies
• Experience marketing and driving engagement in world-class B2B2C / consumer products
• Manage a talented team of content experts and marketers who are on a journey to drive user engagement for us
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• “High-horsepower” thinker – “High Execution” doer
• Some knowledge of the healthcare industry, SaaS or B2B2C products or related experience helpful but not required
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills and ability to generate strong external and internal relationships
• Proven ability to run complex processes, navigate organizations, and lead meetings effectively and efficiently
• Accountable, proactive and thoughtful with high attention to detail and strategic problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%

Job Requirements:
• Define and execute our user brand, tone and voice messaging including content and design guidelines
• Develop and champion our overarching outside the app channels engagement strategy, with a specific focus on email, social media, texting, etc.
• Translate our value proposition to users into clear content and messaging that can be leveraged by our product and by customers
• Leverage and extract data in partnership with Product Analytics to assess the performance of current marketing tactics, set ongoing content and marketing goals and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our engagement/marketing tactics
• Create innovative, consumer-driven content and marketing strategies and tactics (e.g., email, text, print) including those that can be executed by our B2B/employer partners to drive registration and engagement
• Lead / manage a team of content, channel and marketing experts and producers and provide coaching and mentoring to all team members
• Oversee execution of channels / email production across customers and for customer-specific needs as appropriate
• Deliver insights and recommendations to product and user engagement/marketing teams based on prior experience / consumer best practice
• Understand our products and engagement tactics to make recommendations on how we can improve conversion
• Serve as a user marketing expert and thought partner within our organization as well as with our external partners, vendors and customers
• The role is 40% hands-on marketing/content strategy, planning and solutioning in partnership with C&C team, 40% stakeholder/cross-functional leadership, influencing and collaboration, 20% individual execution
