JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for a team lead to run our Product Engagement Strategy team within the Product organization. In this role, you will empower the product, design, engineering and analytics teams to ensure we are making user centric, data-driven decisions when developing and releasing product features.
Their products are designed to help its users better navigate their health and benefit decisions, and the Product Engagement Strategy team sits in the center of this dialogue and development process. In order to drive engagement in our products and features, we need to ensure the our decisions are guided by consumer best practices, data and thoughtful marketing.
This will be a key role to ensuring engagement in our client now and for years to come. He/she will lead a small team that partners with Product managers, content and channel experts, design/UX and product analytics to achieve this critical business goal.

Job Duties:
• Develop overarching engagement strategy and frameworks for how our products engage our users
• Map the user journey with our products to ensure each touchpoint drives value and engagement
• Translate our value proposition to employers and users into measurable goals and targets that our product teams can understand and manage to outcomes
• Leverage and extract data in partnership with Product Analytics to assess the performance of current products, set ongoing product engagement goals and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our engagement/marketing tactics
• Create innovative, consumer-driven strategies and tactics (e.g., email, text, print) including those that can be executed by our B2B/employer partners to drive registration and engagement
• Lead / manage a team of engagement experts and provide coaching and mentoring to all team members on the PES team and beyond
• Deliver insights and recommendations to product and user engagement/marketing teams based on prior experience / consumer best practice
• Understand our products and engagement tactics to make recommendations on how we can improve conversion
• Serve as a product engagement expert and thought partner within our organization as well as with our external partners, vendors and customers
• The role is 40% hands-on engagement strategy, planning and solutioning in partnership with PES team, 40% stakeholder/cross-functional leadership, influencing and collaboration, 20% individual execution

Job Requirements:
• 7+ years’ experience in B2C or B2B2C product marketing including proven success in driving engagement, user marketing and product strategies
• Experience marketing and driving engagement in world-class B2B2C / consumer products
• Manage a talented team of Engagement Strategists / marketers who are on a journey to drive user engagement for us
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• “High-horsepower” thinker – “High Execution” doer
• Some knowledge of the health care industry, SaaS or B2B2C products or related experience helpful but not required
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills and ability to generate strong external and internal relationships
• Proven ability to run complex processes, navigate organizations, and lead meetings effectively and efficiently
• Accountable, proactive and thoughtful with high attention to detail and strategic problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%

Educational Requirements:
• BS/BA required, MBA strongly preferred
