JOB DESCRIPTION: Local North County Manufacturing company is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team!  The ideal candidate will have a Degree and at least 2 years of recent Human Resources  experience to include 2 years of accounting experience. Benefits experience is required.   Experience with SAP is a huge plus but not required.  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.  Successful candidate will be able to be self- driven and have the ability to meet deadlines.  The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.  This is Monday – Friday 8-5 Temp to Hire position.

Job Duties:

  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

 

  • Prepares and maintains employee handbook
  • Administers hiring and termination processes and procedures.
  • Delivers employee orientation training.
  • Administers compensation program; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • Administers employee benefits, including but not limited to assisting with open enrollment, payment administration, answering
  • questions and working with suppliers.
  • Handles employee relations by facilitating communication between co-workers.
  • Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from databases.
  • Processes payroll and generates various payroll reports.
  • Oversees timekeeping processes including answering questions and working with suppliers.
  • Maintains files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assists in month end accounting close related to personnel costs.
  • Collaborates with Accounting Manager to generate personnel cost budgets and forecasts.
  • Performs other ADHOC financial reporting and duties as needed

Job Requirements:
