We are playing a leading role in the emergence of mobile broadband. Our veteran engineering team is leveraging advanced signal processing and intelligent antenna design to create a new market for self-configuring, environmentally aware indoor coverage systems.

Job Description:

The Company’s Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for providing direct support to the NPI, Production and RMA processes.

Job Duties:

NPI

  • Provide contract manufacturer with Golden Boards for station correlation and calibration
  • Provide contract  manufacturer  with  station  block  diagrams,  parts  lists  &  manage procurement of new equipment
  • Generate Bartender label templates for new products
  • Provide schematic & layout review for outside vendors
  • Assemble & document assembly process for some new NPI products
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travel to China as needed (not frequent)

 Production

  • Test capacity & station conversion to support new products
  • Conduct Yield analysis
  • Validation of test
  • Review & update station calibration.
  • Regression testing of test  station SW  to  ensure backwards compatibility to  legacy
  • Coordinate repair & calibration of test equipment in contract
  • Procurement of mass production consumables based on sales foreca

RMA

  • Test, repair, refurbish & repackage RMA’s that come to the San Diego
  • Process advanced replacement RMA’s.

Stockroom

  • Configure sales orders shipping from San Diego (ie. Demo and revenue)
  • Inventory

Job Requirements

Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to read and interpret schematic diagrams, test procedures, technical drawings and publication
  • Must be proactive, taking initiative and working in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Foster a professional attitude and demonstrate integrity and flexibility
  • Entrepreneurial, rapid learner, inquisitive, and persistent

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to carefully follow instructions

  • Ability to travel to china as required

Work Experience

  • General purchasing and sourcing experience is preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing experience in the RF industry preferred.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required
  • Associate / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical /Electrical field or equivalent experience is preferred
