Job Duties:

  • Provision, configure, administer and monitor servers, network services, and devices
  • Provision hardware equipment and manage software licenses
  • Configure and setup workstations, PCs, and accounts for new hires
  • Address IT-related helpdesk requests and reported issues from on-premise and off-site employees
  • Perform patch management for servers and end user PCs
  • Manage and configure anti-virus system
  • Administer VOIP-based hosted unified communication/telecom system
  • Manage system back-up and restore activities
  • Contribute to strategic IT projects & initiatives related to scalable technology solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Windows Server / Active Directory / group policy administration
  • Hands on experience with IT hardware diagnostics – laptops, desktop PCs, peripherals
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills for IT infrastructure including servers, switches, network security appliances, and wireless access points
  • Provide support for Microsoft Office Suite (all versions from Office 2016 to Office 365)
  • Deployment and administration of local & remotely managed virtual environments (i.e. VMware)
  • Experience using industry standard network and security monitoring tools (i.e., SIEM)
  • Motivated and eager to learn and grow with the team
  • WAN administration, including site-to-site and client virtual private networks (VPNs)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure cloud services is strongly desired
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas, expectations, and objectives while working with and through others in a collaborative team environment is essential

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven working experience in the network engineering and/or administration at companies with workforces >100 employees
  • Cisco CCNA or CCNP certifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology from an accredited college, university, or technical institute
