JOB DESCRIPTION: My client is the premier provider of the best solutions available on the market for addressing the universal challenge of poor cellular coverage in the office, at home, or on the road. They are adding a Program Manager, New Programs & Product Quality to staff. This role could be the growth opportunity for a Sr. Manager on a career path to Director

Job Duties:
• Quality management ranging from Product Development (DFX initiatives) extending through Manufacturing and Order Fulfillment
• Direct responsibility for relationships with external business partners – suppliers, contract manufacturers, distribution / logistics partners
• Proven program and project management expertise – complex planning, scheduling, and task management across a diverse group of stakeholders
o People influencer with meticulous attention to detail and superior follow up capability
• Experience as a primary stakeholder in a phase-gate Product Development / Concurrent Engineering process, acting as the “voice of manufacturing”
o Design for Manufacturability, Six Sigma, etc.
o Materials, Component and Services acquisition
o PCB Prototyping, Tooling and Production Readiness
o Cost Targets / Cost Analysis
• Experience in managing Engineering Change and disposition actions in both a Product Development and Production environment
o Experience transition products from Product Development to Production; Production Release and Production Readiness activities
• Detailed knowledge and “transaction level” operational experience with Planning and Order Fulfillment in a manufacturing and distribution company
o Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning
o Demand Management
o Master Production Scheduling
o ERP / MRP / DRP
o Procurement
o Inventory Management (CM Consigned Materials)
o Repair & Overhaul (Customer Consigned Materials)
• Production line start up, streamlining and optimization (Lean Six Sigma)
• Deep experience in the measurement and analysis of variation and defects to develop corrective and preventative action and potentially influence product design (Six Sigma / DFSS)
• Experience analyzing factory build reports, production and quality metrics, and other data to develop Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for product and manufacturing issues

Salary Range:
• $ 90,000 to $ 130,000 per year

• Electromechanical manufacturing & distribution (e.g., appliances, medical devices)

• Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, etc.)

• MS Office Power User

Educational Requirements:
Education / Training (in some combination)
• Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering
o Electrical, Mechanical or derivative preferred
• Masters Degree – Business
o Specialization in Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics preferred

• APICS CPIM or CSCP
o Certified in Production & Inventory Management
o Certified Supply Chain Professional

• ISM CPSM
o Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
o Additionally Certified in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) preferred

• PMI PMP or PgMP
o Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
o Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP)
