JOB DESCRIPTION: TriStaff is partnering with their client a specialized event furniture hire company in CA.
One of California’s leading event furniture rental companies is currently looking for a dynamic, organized, sales assistant who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment, driven to provide our client's with the ultimate experience from start to finish. We want passion, dedication and someone who shines when being the first and last point of contact between our company and our clients. You have to be a detail oriented team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as a respect and focus on quality. As time is usually a factor, the work must be done on time, as well as accurately. In general, this is a position where guidelines, structure, and established policies must be followed fairly closely, while working with and for others. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. The focus of this position is working with others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. At the same time you would need to be resourceful and self-motivated. You must be able to take multitasking to a new level, as you will be managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Duties:
• Provide top-notch support to our sales team.
• Develop interpersonal relationships with clients by acting as a liaison between clients and the sales team, assisting with event design as needed.
• Prepare accurate job quotes for clients.
• Be the first point of contact for all new clients who call or walk into our facility.
• Enter orders accurately in our event software order system and follow up with clients' orders and quotes in a timely manner.
• Build knowledge of extensive inventory and learn appropriate applications.
• Evaluate client needs to determine and suggest appropriate rental needs for their events.
• Provide the inventory and operations teams all the necessary information for successful execution of the events.
• Strong, friendly follow-up necessary on tasks delegated to ensure proper results.

Salary Range and Bonus Potential:
$20.00/hr. to $25.00/hr.

Job Requirements:
• Two years minimum prior experience in customer service, sales or sales support.
• Prior event planning or other hospitality experience or education a plus but not necessary.
• Be adept at managing many projects simultaneously within short time periods
• Ability to work the occasional weekend.
• Possess excellent communication, typing and computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be punctual.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.


Educational Requirements:
• Two years minimum prior experience in customer service, sales or sales support.
