JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for a team leader of Product Analytics to join the Product organization. In this role, you will lead a team of 2-3 and empower the product, design, engineering and user engagement teams to make data-driven decisions helping the business grow and succeed.
Their data provides a fantastic opportunity to explore and create: we leverage many data sources including medical, dental, and pharmacy claims; user behavior within the website, mobile app and emails; and quality information across the provider spectrum.
This will be a key role to help Product and the broader company understand how this data is coming together to deliver value for our customers and users. He/she will lead a team of data and analytics experts to extract and combine data from all available data sources to understand how people are using our product features with a goal to predict what will serve the user best. This person will also set the tone and approach for how we assess the value of our products and what we invest in going forward.

Job Duties:
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in analytics, with several years in product analytics specifically
• At least 3 years of experience managing others, experience managing a team and an associated vision a major plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators
• Experience presenting to senior level stakeholders, including internal leadership and executive level customers / vendors
• SaaS and B2B product analytics experience required, additionally B2C product experience a major plus
• Experience with the data from Marketing Analytics systems such as Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, Adobe Marketing, Salesforce … etc. a plus
• Experience working in an engineering organization (e.g. agile process) and using common development tools like Git, Jira ... etc.
• Basic understanding of statistics and algorithm
• Quick learner: organized, logical thought processes, and good memory
• Healthcare industry, especially data-related knowledge (e.g. HIPAA, PHI, PII), would be a big plus
• Skilled in SQL, Python and Tableau or other visualization is a plus

Job Requirements:
• Lead and manage a team of 2-3, focused on deriving insights from our data, assessing the value of our products and delivering critical information to the rest of the organization
• Translate our value proposition for employers and users into measurable goals and targets that our product teams can understand and manage to outcomes
• Communicate the value of our products to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Customers, vendors) and lead the direction of how we share metrics and targets with these audiences
• Assess the impact of our products and features and evolve these learnings into critical “value fundamentals” or tactics that are required to ensure customers and users realize the ROI of our products
• Collaborate with the Product Leadership Team to rollout and train PMs on instrumentation, dashboards and product value assessment approach
• Partner with Product and Engineering to design an approach for how we report and monitor progress of products and features via scorecards / dashboards in Tableau and/or Mixpanel
• Deliver insights and recommendations to product and user engagement/marketing teams on resource allocation decisions (product features, email campaigns, etc.)
• Champion instrumentation requirements and approach for product team that ensure that our app produces clean, usable clickstream data
• Partner with Data Management and other analytics teams on data governance and standardization efforts to ensure clean, accurate data
• Understand and analyze our products and engagement tactics to make recommendations on how we can improve conversion
• The role is 40% hands-on analytics, 50% stakeholder/cross-functional teamwork, 10% coaching others on analytics/reporting tools
