JOB DESCRIPTION: TriStaff has several openings for Mechanical Engineers (level is flexible) with EARLY development experience at a rapidly growing, globally recognized, publicly traded class III medical device company in San Diego, CA. In these roles, you will be working on BLEEDING EDGE development projects – the future of the company!! You will be responsible for early design and development; should be able to create drawings from scratch. You must be self-driven and comfortable working independently with little supervision. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with a growing company working on innovative products in the medical device industry!

Job Duties:
• Work on a medical device project from concept (“clean sheet of paper”) to completion
• Work with cross-functional teams to create designs for new products, product revisions, and product line extensions.
• Implement design in accordance with design control procedures and quality system

Salary Range and Bonus Potential:
• $ 80,000 to $ 130,000 (DOE) + Annual Bonus

Job Requirements:
• Ideally have prior experience taking at least one medical device project from concept to completion
• Must be proficient with Solidworks and be able to provide samples of CAD drawings and prototypes
• Familiar with GD&T
• Must be motivated and self-driven
• Should have at least 2 years’ experience in the medical device industry (delivery systems or high volume plastic disposables highly preferred)
• Medical device experience required
• 2-8 years’ experience

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
