JOB DESCRIPTION: Are you the type of Mechanical Engineer who took apart all of your Christmas presents as a kid to figure out how they worked? Do you like to build things? Are you HANDS-ON? Would you rather be in a lab than in a meeting? Is it less about titles and more about the work? If so, then this could be the role for you! TriStaff is partnering with a small Design and Development Firm to find a Senior Product Development Engineer for its team. In this role you will be involved in FULL product development from concept design, test, prototype, partnering with CMs, etc. You will be working on a small team to develop new and innovative products, primarily in the medical device space. (Medical device experience is NOT required)

Job Duties:
• Develop new product designs in Solidworks
• System level design from concept to manufacturing
• Perform inspections, tests, and operations as needed to ensure quality of product
• Work with CMs
• Prepare DOE studies

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7-10 years’ experience in Product Design and Development
• Experience designing single-use disposables is preferred but not required
• MUST have a passion for engineering, tinkering, building, etc.

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
