Are you looking for a new opportunity? We have a client in the Carlsbad area eager to hire a motivated Accounting Administrator. The Accounting Assistant is part of their growing finance and office team.
The Accounting Administrator works with the Finance Team and assists the CFO managing financial functions, including GL review, expenses allocation, AR, tax and loan audits. This position also works on YE tax adjustments and filing of taxes.
Job Duties:
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Reconciles all accounts, prepares schedules to support balance, and present findings that help improve internal processes.
- Complies with GAAP, U.S. tax regulations, publications and loan agreements.
- Reviews W9s, verify payments, adjust books and record, and issues 1096/1099 forms.
- Streamline the closing process and prepare the desktop procedures.
- Handle ad-hoc projects as directed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent work experience in Accounting.
- Highly proficient in MS Office including Excel.
- At least one year experience using QuickBooks.
- At least one year experience in full cycle accounting
- Work experience in assisted reproduction health industry preferred.
- Overall knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Detail-oriented.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
